Known for his compelling musicianship and leadership, Mark Singleton has become one of New England’s most sought-after conductors. In addition to serving as Artistic Director of Voce, Mark serves as the Director of Music at Immanuel Congregational Church, Choir Master of the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus and Professor of Choral Music at the University of Connecticut.
Mark holds an undergraduate degree in Cello Performance and Church Music from William Jewell College and a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Connecticut. He has pursued additional conducting studies at the Robert Shaw Festival, the Dennis Keene Choral Festival and the Conductors Institute of South Carolina.

Mark has served as guest clinician, teacher and conductor for festivals and workshops throughout the United States, China, Europe and Africa. He has prepared choruses and served as guest conductor for many orchestras including the National Symphony of China, the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, New Haven Symphony Orchestra, Liberty Symphony Orchestra, Arcadiana Symphony Orchestra and the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra.
Mark has been described by his teacher and mentor Dr. Peter Bagley as an "exceptional talent." Most recently, American composer and National Medal of Arts recipient Morten Lauridsen described his work as "exemplifying choral performance at its finest."
